William was convicted Oxford City Sessions of Peace Gaol Delivery on 10 July 1809 and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Admiral Gambier on 39 September 1811.

William and James Flavell (Barwell) were convicted on 4 November 1816 of burglary Thomas Reed on 6 June 1816 in Sydney and sentenced to death.
