Biographies

Thomas Bilston was tried and convicted 5 April 1823 at Warwick Assizes Court and sentenced to Life transportation. He arrived 1824 to Hobart VDL per 'Asia'. He was born 1807 at Birmingham Warwickshire England son of Robert Bilston & Charlotte Morris. He married 23 April 1835 at New Norfolk Tas to Ann Wheeler (1819-1877) daughter of convict William Wheeler and Elizabeth Guy (free) who was born Norfolk Island daughter of convicts Thomas Guy & Ellen Wainwright. Thomas Bilston & Ann Wheeler had a large family of 13 children. Thomas died 1899 at Portland Vic.
