Biographies

John together with Edward Scare (Admiral Gambier 1811) and Herbert Stiles or Styles (Eagle 1811) and Joseph Burridge (General Hewitt 1814) committed piracy on 7 April1814 by taking control of schooner "Speedwell" at Newcastle and escaping Colony. They have not been seen subsequently.
