James Moorhead, born abt 1821 in Ireland emigrated with parents to Quebec, Canada.
Parents William Moorhead (1789-1880) and Katherine (1801-1836)…mother died 1836 in Quebec City and father in 1880 in Wellington, Ontario, Canada.
Sister Jane Moorhead (1824-1902) and brother George (1825-)
James was charged with 14 offences in Quebec City from 1836-1839, mostly ‘loose, idle and disorderly’ to ‘larceny’ and ‘suspicion of felony’
