Biographies

Tried at Dublin City for “writing against the British government” and sentenced to 7 years transportation at age 14 years in April, 1813. Transported on the Three Bees arriving on 6th May 1814 and Assigned in Servitude to James BULL of Bull's Hill, Liverpool and became free by servitude in 1821, following a Petition for Mitigation of Sentence in 1819.

On 23rd October, 1821 at St. Luke's Church of England, Liverpool, he married Ann BULL, daughter of James Bull to whom he had been assigned in servitude, with 4 issue.

On 31st October, 1821 he was appointed Constable of Liverpool but resigned on 12th December, 1822.

In 1828 he held 60 acres of land at Bull's Hill, now Cabramatta, 20 of which were under cultivation and 1 horse and 6 cattle.

He died at Bulls Farm, Nr Liverpool, New South Wales on 7th May, 1862 and was buried in the Roman Catholic section of the Liverpool Pioneers' Memorial Park,Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.
