Edward arrived Sydney aged about 21 aboard Lady Harewood on 5 August 1832,with his Indent showing trade as "boatman"

Edward had Ticket of Leave 41/197 issued Carcoar NSW and TOL Passport 42/0291 dated 25 February 1842 issued Carcoar. He gained Conditional Pardon 48/1496 dated 10 July 1848

Edward made unsuccessful application to marry Mary Otway (Margaret 1837) on 4 September 1843. ( likely cause being that Mary was noted as married upon her Indent).
