James was born about 1806 Fermangh County Ireland

John was tried and convicted at Fermangh in 1824 and sentenced to 7 years transportation

James arrived Sydney aged about 19 aboard Asia on 22 February 1825 with his Indent showing trade "reaper".

James was convicted on 31 January 1831 at Supreme Court Sydney with John Cook (Ocean 1823) & William Bubb (Albion 1827) of murdering Adam Oliver (Eliza 1822) on 20 November 1830 on Norfolk Island.
