Born 1804 Address before transportation:Stanley near Leeds Yorkshire (England) Occupation: House Servant Convicted at York (West Riding) Quarter Session for stealing a case of tea, sentenced to 14 years transportation Sarah (AINSWORTH) arrived on "Mary" on 19th October 1831 (departed London 12 Jun 1831 with 151 female convicts on board) Age on Arrival: 27 Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel Grey Remarks: H.P.F. 5 dots rt. arm S.H. 12 spots & P W left arm 1834 - November 20th - Thomas ARNOTT, widower, married Sarah AINSWORTH, spinster, in the School House, Clarence Plains. She signed with an X and their witnesses were:
William DEE and Mary BACON. February 28th 1839 - Sarah HARNETT (nee HAINSWORTH) aged 36 dies of "dropsy". (Records show that Sarah was posthumously freed by servitude 4th April 1845 )
