1815 27 March – Baptised St Martins-in-the-Bull-Ring Birmingham with brother Samuel born 25 March 1810 Living at Cheapside, Deritend, Birmingham. Correct name George STANLEY.

1829 January Warwick Quarter Sessions – ACQUITTED of theft at Aston aged 16 years.

1831 26 March – Warwick Quarter Sessions Sentenced to Death for Housebreaking Commuted to Transportation
On Board Leviathan (Prison Hulk) awaiting transportation – age given as 18 years
29 September - Embarked Asia 1 – Thos. F Stead, Master
