William was convicted at Worcester Assizes on 21 September 1826 and sentenced to life transportation

William arrived Sydney aged about 20 aboard Albion on 14 February 1827

William was convicted on 31 January 1831 at Supreme Court Sydney with John Cook (Ocean 1823) & James Murphy (Asia 1825) of murdering Adam Oliver (Eliza 1822) on 20 November 1830 on Norfolk Island.
