Daniel was born about 1814 Dublin Ireland and was convicted at Dublin of "steal rope" in 1833 and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Daniel arrived Sydney aged 20 aboard Royal Sovereign on 19 January 1834 with his Indent showing trade "weaver".

Daniel was convicted on 11 May 1838 of murdering Timothy Mahoney aka Thomas Maher with a pick axe on 20 April 1838 at Hassans Wall and entranced to death.
