William was born Worcester and was convicted at Worcester Quarter Sessions on 9 July 1827 and entrenched to 7 years transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Royal Admiral on 8 November 1830

William together with Anderson, Freshwater, Knowles, Ryan & McCulloch were hanged on 23 September 1834 at Norfolk Island ( the other seven being hanged the day previous)
