Name wrongly transcribed from the Convict Indent as John Fawton... should have been John Tawton. He was constantly sick on the voyage (probably TB - to be confirmed).

On arrival he was transferred to the Colonial Hospital where he died on the 27th October 1819. Death wrongly transcribed as John Lawton. V18194425 2B

Just for interest his name was wrongly transcribed in the Surgeon's Journal as John Tanton... I contacted National Archives and they have since corrected to John Tawton...
