Biographies

William Luffman was convicted along with William Hudson and George Stothard, he was tried and conviced on 3/3/1832 for robbing Richard Cockerill (Corn Merchant). He was transported to NSW on Asia, 1833, served his sentence in Scone NSW, he was given a Ticket of Leave in March 1841, he was terminally ill and died in July 1841. He was the brother-inlaw of William Hudson and was married to Frances Hudson on 6/12/1831 in Heapham, Lincolnshire, his parents were John Luffman (Somerset Militia)and Ann Troy (Walsh) 25/12/1797
