Biographies

James Peck born 1798 U.K. was convicted with 2 other men for poaching and in possession of an air gun and covered cudgels in 1820 Suffolk U.K. He was sentenced with the 2 others for 7 years and to be transported to Australia on the ship Earl St Vincent. They departed in April 1820 and arrived Sydney in August 1820 with 160 other convict men on board. James married in 1832 to Charlotte Bromley born 1811 Richmond N.S.W. Charlotte died in 1886 at Camden Reg bdm 7687/1886. James and Charlotte are grandparents of my g.grandfather Alfred Noakes of Rossmore/Camden.
