Description:

Richmond Riparian Management Landcare is a group of farmers involved in various aspects of agriculture including dairying, beef cattle, haymaking, turf growing and citrus orchards.
A corridor of native vegetation 4.4 km long is being established on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Richmond. This is being carried out to prevent slumping, create habitat for birds and animals, contributes to improving air and water quality and will create a better environment for locals to live in and tourists to visit.
Free nature walks are conducted for community groups (ie. cubs, brownies & schools).
