The Kurrajong-Comleroy Historical Society is dedicated to researching, recording, preserving and championing the history of "the Kurrajong", the district bounded by the Hawkesbury River at North Richmond, the Grose River, "Cut Rock" at Kurrajong Heights, along Comleroy and Blaxlands Roads to East Kurrajong, and to the Colo River.

The Kurrajong-Comleroy Historical Society newletter "The Millstone" refers to the Little Wheeny Creek on display at Kurrajong Memorial Park.
