Biographies

John Francis Cecil was baptised 1816 Brighton, Sussex, the son of William & Jane nee Hayward. His father was a tailor and draper in Brighton.
He married Sarah, surname unknown, and they had a son John Albert Cecil c1838 in Colchester, Essex.
John, a tailor, now of Birmingham, was convicted of receiving stolen goods in 1857, and transported for 14 years on the Edwin Fox, to Western Australia.
He got his Ticket of Leave in 1860, Conditional Pardon in 1862, and died in 1870 Freemantle.
