George Rose
Tried Worcester Assizes 16 July 1846 aged 21 years for Highway robbery in company with his nephew David Westwood also 21. Sentenced to 15 years in the colony prison.
Convict No 66679 Ship “China” to Norfolk
Departed Port Woolwich 4/01/1846, Arrived Norfolk Island 16/05/1846
Departed Norfolk via “Tory” June 1847 and arrived VDL in July 1847.
Little is known of George after his arrival in VDL.
