Alexander was born about 1781 Middlesex and was convicted at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 2 December 1801 and entranced to 7 years transportation

Alexander arrived Sydney aged about 23 aboard Coromandel in 1804 with an alias noted " Charles Boyle".

Alexander was convicted in August 1808 of burglary house of William Moad and sentenced to death, he was hanged on 18 June 1808 in Sydney NSW
