Ellen was tried and convicted at Cork during 1831 of "steal pig" and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Ellen arrived Sydney aged 30 aboard Southworth on 14 June 1832 with her Indent noting trade "midwife" also alias "Hays,Hayes". There is also notation that she married with four children
