Biographies

Thomas Webb, husband of Ann Hulbert. Born c 1796 in Melksham Wiltshire, England. (possibly to John and Ann) lived in Melksham until his transportation in 1834. He was married in 1817 and had 7 children, one being Eleanor who is my direct link to Thomas. I have not been able to find evidence of him after 1833 in Melksham when his last child was baptised. His wife was living without him in the 1841 census and listed herself as a widow in 1851.Having hunted all over for a death record, finding this convict info may have just explained why he couldn't be traced. If anyone has any details of his life in Tasmania, I'd be grateful to know.
