Mary was tried in Dublin Ireland on 16 Jul 1831 for stealing a cloak ,convicted and sentenced to 7 years transportation.

Mary arrived Sydney aboard Southworth 14 Jun 1832. Her Indent shows her as "housemaid" & previously having served seven months imprisonment. Mary was granted Certificate of Freedom 40/19 on 1 Jan 1840

Mary made six applications to marry: George Williams 1833, Mustagh Gately 1833, William Allen 1835, William Hancock 1836, Simon Moore 1837 & George Bell 1837. She & George were married 1837
