Meeting held 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10am in the Tebbutt Room, Windsor Library
From 20th January to 28th February 2010 the Hawkesbury Library is hosting a small display from the State Library of NSW.
On Thursday 18th February 2010 @ 6.30pm, Tracy Bradford Head of Manuscripts, State Library of NSW will be providing a talk on Macquarie to coincide with the display. Some original artefacts will be on display as part of this presentation. This a FREE event with light refreshments provided. To book phone 4560 4466.
Family History Fair Sunday 7 March 2010, 10am - 4 pm
Nepean Family History Society is holding their annual Family History Fair at Penrith City Library, 601 High Street. Trade tables are available at $10 each. Entry is free for stall holders and a gold coin donation for the public. Setup in the Library from 8 am. Penrith Plaza is next door. Plenty of food available, either in the Library, or next door in the Plaza. Stall holders will have access to free tea and coffee facilities all day. This is a great opportunity to promote your Society/group.
Makings of a City History Conference: Macquarie’s Legacy Saturday 6 March 2010, 9 am - 5 pm
Presented by Penrith City Library & to be held at Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith. Great speakers, good food, and a whole lot of history on Penrith.
