SENTENCED BEYOND THE SEAS with Janette Pelosi from State Records
Catch up with all the latest information about State Records fascinating ‘Sentenced Beyond the Seas’ project which aims to digitise and index Australia's earliest convict records in colour online.

FAMILY HISTORY CLASSES

The Hawkesbury Library will be holding the following family history classes at the Hawkesbury Central Library. Classes are suitable for beginners or persons wanting a refresher course.

ESSENTIAL RESOURCES FOR FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH ~ Tue 26 March 6.30pm–8.30pm
An informative session investigating the basic resources of births, deaths & marriages for those researching their family history.

MAKING SENSE OF THE CENSUS ~ Thursday 18 April 6.30pm-8.30pm
This session will focus on the UK & Australian census and how to incorporate the results in your family history research.

ADVANCED STRATEGIES FOR FAMILY HISTORY ~ Tuesday 14 May 6.30–8.30pm
An innovative session that will focus on creating profiles, producing timelines and plotting ancestors. Suitable for family historians wanting to enhance their research

SURFING THE INTERNET...SITES FOR FAMILY HISTORIANS

Members with internet access should check out the following interesting sites. The Library has free access to the internet, contact 4560 4460 for bookings at Windsor & 4578 2002 for Richmond bookings. If you have your own laptop we also have free wireless. The password is available from the Information Desk.
