Analysing your Family History Research session

What do you do with your family history research? What do you do with your family history research? Come along to this new session on Thursday 23 September 6pm–8pm.  Includes tips on how to analyse and evaluate your research, put your story in words, and share the information online and in print. 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Richmond function

Saturday 27 November 2010 at Richmond School of Arts - 5.30pm for 6pm start. The function will commence with a presentation by Paul Brunton, Senior Curator Mitchell Library, Sydney assisted by visuals.  Paul will discuss the cloak and dagger operation that secured the prized Macquarie papers offered by Lady Strathallan at auction in London in 1914.The presentation will last about 1 hour. Following the presentation guests will move to the Murray Wing for a 3 course “Celebration Dinner” the focus being Macquarie’s visit to Ham Common on 3 December 1810 when he determined on the location of the church, burying ground and town square (Richmond Park) to be named Richmond. Three course dinner with drinks $55, includes Paul Brunton’s presentation. A limited number of tickets will be available for the presentation only at $5 per head.
