Biographies

Samuel was tried at Stafford Quarter Sessions on 27 Jun 1837 and sentenced to seven years. He sailed from England on 4 Apr 1838 aboard the "Lord Lyndoch" arriving at Port Jackson 8 Aug 1838.

It is unknown if he ever made contact with his brother James, who was sent to Van Diemen's Land in 1825.

Samuel was born 23 Jul 1817 in Birmingham, Warwickshire and died 1879 in Parramatta, NSW.

He was my great-great-grand uncle.
