Tried at the Middlesex Assizes . Born in London. Parents were John Hill and Susannah Savery. Baptised at St Matthews Church Bethnal Green.

January 1824 - On return of Convicts discharged from Emu Plains to Sydney
23 January 1824 - On list of persons assigned. Samuel was assigned to Mary Gilbert of Parramatta. (Assignment location No. 4/4521.)
Married Matty Harrington (aka Hannagan) on 2 June 1828 in Church of England. on 23 January 1824 in the presence of Frederick Perks and Esther Perks both of Parramatta by John Vincent Chaplin. Convicts application to marry No. 515 granted 13 May 1828
Grant of Allotment 3 of Section 42 Town of Parramatta North on 7 May 1857
Died on 15 November at his residence, Albert Street Parramatta aged 87. Buried at Rookwood Cemetery.
