Samuel WELLS was awarded his Certificate of Freedom on 20 May 1836. He is described on this record as being 5 foot 7 and a half inches. At the time, he is described as having a dark sallow pock marked complexion, black hair mixed with grey, and dark hazel eyes. His trade was listed as a Labourer. (NSW State Archives [4/4333; Reel 996; Entry No: 36/0392]).
