Catherine was tried and convicted at Dublin in 1831 of " steal handkerchief" and sentenced to 7 years transportation

Catherine arrived Sydney aged 18 aboard Southworth on 14 June 1832 with her Indent showing alias "Reilly" and trade as "kitchen maid" and also previous convictions of 6 & 7 months imprisonment

Catherine was assigned to John Elliott of Segenhoe near Newcastle on 7 November 1832 and made application to marry George Linton (Royal Charlotte 1825) on 26 July 1833
