Biographies

Born 1795/6 in Ewhurst, Sussex. Sentenced in Kent to 14 years transportation to NSW for impersonating a dead seaman to claim money from the Royal Seaman's Hospital at Greenwich. Certificate of Freedom 1831 and married another convict, Margaret Murphy. Died 1844.
