George was convicted at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 8 September 1831 and sentenced to 7 years transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Portland on 26 March 1832.

George was convicted on 20 December 1835 of cutting wounding with intent to kill (with hatchet)'John File/Fell (unidentified) and sentenced to death.
