John was born about 1793 Middlesex and was tried and convicted at Middlesex Gaol Delivery on 10 April 1828 and sentenced to 7 years transportation

John arrived Sydney aged about 40 aboard Mangles on 19 April 1833.

John was murdered on 31 May 1834 at Airds by William Viall (Lady Feversham 1830).
