Biographies

The second of 3 wives of my 3 x Grt Grandfather Joseph SALVIN (a free man on board Blenheim and father in law of convict James KIRK - Joseph Somes 1).

Robina had already married George SWAN/MCLEAN in Victoria in 1852 where they had dau’s Isabella and Georgina. George died in NZ in 1863 and she then married recently widowed Joseph 24 Apr 1866 in Dunedin. Robina then disappears from all records, nothing indicates any children from the marriage. Joseph returned to Tasmania and marries once again in 1869.
