William Mooney & John White (Edward) were convicted at Supreme Court on 4 Nov &1831 of the axe murder of Maurice Roache (Guildford) at Goulburn Plains on 22 September 1831.

William Mooney & John White were both sentenced to death and to be Gibbeted ( hung in chains). Both were hanged on 16 November 1831 at Goulburn NSW
