John was convicted at Dublin Ireland and sentenced to life transportation, he arrived Sydney aboard Atlas on 30 October 1802.

John and James Tracey (Hercules) were convicted on 23 Sept 1803 of robbery dwelling Thomas Neal on 22 Feb 1803 at Richmond & Richard Phelps on 24 July 1803 in the Hawkesbury and sentenced to death.
