Biographies

Damianos Ninis is my great, great grandfather and was one of the seven Greek convicts transported for life from Malta for piracy during the Hellinic war of independence from the Ottoman empire, they were pardoned five years later when the war ended, Damianos was repatriated to Greece where he married and had two sons who returned to Australia in their twenties.
