Her name on the permission to marry record is her first married name Sullivan - Brett is her maiden name. She was a widow when she married John Hancock.

She was sentenced to 7yrs at Middlesex Session Peace for man robbery.
Ellen Sullivan left on 3rd Dec 1833 on the Numa Convict Ship and arrived in NSW 13.6.1834
Ellen was sent to the Female Factory in Parramatta, NSW..

county, Cork, Ireland Convicted of house robbery and sentenced to transportation for 7 years. Onboard the "Numa" June 15 1834. Ellen Sullivan born in 1790 in Cork, Ireland. Daughter of Daniel John Sullivan and Elin Conner.
"Married" William Hoole, also a convict and had 6 children.
Ellen died in 1860 at Walcha, New South Wales.
