Biographies

Jul 1794 she was tried at Dublin, and sentenced to 7 years.

Mary arrived in Sydney, NSW per "Marquis Cornwallis" 11 Feb 1796. Soon after her arrival in Sydney, she was sent to Norfolk Island.

At the completion of her sentence, she met up with Thomas Croghan, also a convict, and subsequently had 7 children.

In Dec 1807 on the closure of Norfolk Island, Thomas, Mary, and their children left there onboard the ship "Porpoise" arriving in New Norfolk, Tasmania on 17 Jan 1808.
